Our journey started not with an idea or plan, but more with a situation we found ourselves in. Having had a baby boy, Rudy, in late January during the third UK lockdown, a summer wardrobe for our little man was at the very back of our minds. As ever though, the British weather, with its tendency to surprise, presented us with 22º heat and wall to wall sunshine in March and we had to dash out and find some suitable clothing and accessories for him. With only ‘essential’ stores open, it quickly became apparent that a pair of supermarket shades weren’t going to cut it for our boy, and we immediately went on the hunt online to find some more stylish sunglasses for him. What we found wasn’t particularly impressive, and after exhausting our search we decided it was time to do something about it.
