DAVID GREENHALGH

David has over 25 years’ experience in providing expert employment law advice.

He is recommended in the most recent edition of the prestigious Legal 500, independent guide to the UK legal profession, for advising both employers and senior executives.

David scored an important victory for UK employers in the landmark Sunrise Brokers v Rodgers case in the High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court, where he obtained an injunction to enforce restrictive covenants blocking an employee from joining a competitor for a lengthy period without payment of salary.

In advising clients on their employment issues, David utilises his background experience in ground breaking heavyweight litigation cases (including securing victory for the families of the Omagh bombing victims in their landmark civil action against the Real IRA and for terrorism victims in the Almog v Arab Bank litigation). 

David has been featured in The Times supplement and other magazine publications and is a regular commentator in the press on HR issues (see coverage).

In his spare time, David is a trustee of Noah’s Ark Children’s’ Hospice and is a Court member for the Guild of Human Resources Professionals.
