Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By engaging Michael Andrews (trading as Wix SEO Expert UK) for SEO consulting services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read these terms carefully before proceeding with any service engagement.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the "Client") and Michael Andrews (the "Service Provider").

2. Services Provided

The Service Provider offers professional SEO consulting services including but not limited to:

• Wix website SEO optimisation
• Technical SEO audits and implementation
• Keyword research and strategy
• On-page SEO optimisation
• Local SEO services
• Content strategy and optimisation
• SEO consulting and training

Specific services will be outlined in individual project proposals or service agreements.

3. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

• Provide timely access to website administration, analytics, and other necessary platforms
• Provide accurate and complete information about their business and target audience
• Review and approve content, changes, and recommendations in a timely manner
• Communicate openly about goals, concerns, and expectations
• Make timely payments as agreed in the service proposal
• Understand that SEO results take time and are not guaranteed

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be specified in individual service agreements. Standard terms include:

• Project-based services: Full balance required before work commences
• Monthly retainer services: Payment due in advance on the 1st of each month
• One-time audits: Full payment required before delivery of audit report

All prices are quoted in British Pounds (GBP) and exclude VAT where applicable.

5. Service Guarantee

The Service Provider guarantees:

• Professional service delivery according to industry best practices
• Transparent communication and quarterly reporting (for yearly clients only)
• White-hat SEO techniques that comply with search engine guidelines
• Confidentiality of client information and business data

6. Refund Policy

Project-Based Services: If you are unsatisfied with the initial audit or strategy phase (first 14 days), you may request a full refund of your deposit. After work has commenced on implementation, refunds will be pro-rated based on work completed.

Monthly Retainer Services: Either party may cancel with 30 days written notice. No refunds will be provided for the current billing period. Services will continue through the notice period.

One-Time Services: Due to the nature of digital services, no refunds are provided once the deliverable has been provided, except in cases of service non-delivery or material breach of contract.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, strategies, and recommendations created specifically for the Client become the Client's property upon full payment. The Service Provider retains the right to:

• Use anonymised case studies and results for marketing purposes (with client approval)
• Showcase the client's website in portfolio examples (with client approval)
• Retain proprietary methodologies, tools, and processes

8. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information shared during the course of the engagement. This includes but is not limited to:

• Business strategies and plans
• Analytics and performance data
• Customer information
• Financial information
• Proprietary processes and methodologies

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service Provider's total liability for any claims arising from services provided shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client for services in the preceding 12 months.

The Service Provider is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate services with 30 days written notice. Upon termination:

• The Client must pay for all work completed up to the termination date
• The Service Provider will provide a final report and handover documentation
• All Client data and access will be returned or deleted as requested
• Confidentiality obligations remain in effect indefinitely

11. Changes to Terms

The Service Provider reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Clients will be notified of material changes via email. Continued use of services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. The most current version will always be available at wixseo.co.uk/terms-of-service.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
